Thank you so much for the valuable service you provide. Would it be possible to turn off the siren when driving to through the Old Town neighborhoods? It sounds like at some point the driver consistently turns it off but it would be great if there was the option to turn it off sooner. Thanks!

As another reviewer noted, definitely some of the finest people I've ever met. Some crazy humidity induced smoke alarms going off twice today. No smoke, no fire. Simplisafe failed to stop auto call to Fire Dept. They showed up twice within 15 minutes! I was unhappy with Simplisafe and embarrassed for wasting their time. They were so kind. Stay safe Kingstowne Fire and Rescue. Thank you.
Swung by with my sons to pick up a Christmas tree. They had fantastic offerings in a variety of sizes. Despite all the nice trees, my sons chose the ugliest tree on the lot because it had a red tag and a blue mark... still a dope tree!
I’m so sorry for wasting your time but so grateful for such a quick, responsive, and respectful team near me!
Thank you!!
Thank God Wheaton Has Very Brave Men And Women Working Together!!
I used to live right near station 6 when I was only a baby and I always loved this station and I still do to this day so thank you for serving us.

Very Brave Firefighters In Our Area!
We are very glad to have you here in Chevy chase
I had concerns that someone placed a AirTag on my car to track me. Woman have been trafficked and kidnapped this way. I had no idea who to call to check my car for me. These guys thought it was funny even AFTER I explained that I was concerned someone was tracking me. Just for future, please take woman seriously and if you don’t have an answer laughing on the phone is probably not the best way to comfort someone looking for help. You could’ve easily just told me to call non emergency prior.
Listen the ball room is beautiful and has so much space the only problem is with the women who rents it , don’t rent it unless you want someone on your neck 24/7, she’s also rude and always has to judge something that you’re doing , way too expensive for her to not have trust in the people she rents it to , idk personally me I was very disappointed in the lack of the trust of this women i was very annoyed on how she complains you’re not cleaning fast enough but distracts you by asking a whole bunch of questions and “can i give you a suggestion” she’s also late to open the doors but will blame it on you .
Thanks to Lawrence and the rest of the team for hooking us up with a fire department tee! Brief visit and everyone was so nice.
I’ve never been the type to write a review before, but enough is enough. This is an AWFUL place to volunteer. The Chief’s are some of the most rude and arrogant people I’ve ever associated myself with. The drama that occurs here is off the walls and there are very few people here I would actually trust in the time of an emergency. So many older folks are put in charge here and they simply do not know how to keep up with new times. I honestly think that the only way to help WVRS become a better place is if they put in new, better, younger people. If you are considering volunteering somewhere, PLEASE choose somewhere else with a better sense of community. Just trying to help out.
We wanted our daughters to meet some of our local heros and they were amazing! I can't express how happy my girls were to learn and engage with the rescue squad. We're extremely lucky to have them helping our community.

We have had them respond to urgent calls and for fire alarm assistance. What an awesome group of helpful and kind, caring people.
Thank you for your service.
They helped us out on at lest 7 different times some for rescue for a few of our employees and few small fires at our business becouse of some of the danger of what used here they have been here a lot and each time they are very professional and friendly keep up the good work
My family has lived in Great Falls for over 50 years. Whenever we call them to assist us in a emergency situation they are always respond to the calls rapidly and efficiently. Thank you firefighters God Bless you all
This station loves to drive around with full lights and sirens at all hours to pick up groceries and check on faulty commercial fire alarms. They excel at waking up small children.
Last year in December I had to call for an ambulance for my abdominal pain. They came in few minutes. The people were really nice. Two young girls were extremely caring. One girl had smile on her face all the time like an angel. I wished if she were my daughter. I was supposed to go visit them with some pizza, but then came the Covid-19 situation. One of these days I would go visit them.
Haz Mat Firehouse Station 7
We smelled gas in the basement and the men and women at this station were here within a minute and did a bang-up job finding the problem and phoning in the fix with the gas dept. Really impressive!
Some of the nicest humans ever.
I want to thank the men and women who are staffed at Wheaton Volunteer Rescue. The 2 gentleman who just transported my mom from Wheaton Manor to Washington Adventist hospital were totally awesome.
Thank you again for being so kind.
Thanks to Patrick, Amaya and Dorthman for their amazing assistance today transferring over to medical. They were very sincere and treated the patients with respect. Thanks so much to the Wheaton Rescue Squad.

Always see multiple vehicles leaving in unison even though they are currently under construction they always have it together which you can really appreciate in an emergency situation. They are also rebuilding quite quickly considering the location is pretty tight to try and bring in new materials. Every time I pass by the construction has moved along quite swiftly.
Ideal location, currently in a temporary facility on site. Look forward to the completed facility in the near future.
Have to agree with the previous post. The firefighters are very nice and courteous. When the fire engines leave or come back to the station they do not turn on the sirens unnecessarily.
I have needed the Alexandria Fire Department twice since being here in VA. Once for what we thought was a sprinkler issue and then when our alarms went off saying there was CO2 present in the home. Both times the unit showed quickly, were professional, kind, helpful., on and on. Big problem, small, even if it turns out to be nothing they respect the safety first motto.
The driver on A shift is truly incredible.

Thank you for serving the community.
Great firehouse. Good location. Great bunch of guys. Apparatus consist of engine, rescue, and ambulance.
Always professional, courteous and kind. The Best!
Great station. Fairly busy. Ran some good calls at this firehouse. This station has an engine, reserve engine, medic, reserve medic, volunteer Chief buggy, and rehab unit. Located on gallows road right down the street from Fairfax Hospital.
A nice venue for Sunday comic book shows (Capicons).
We love the Alexandria FD. They have helped us with bats, smoke coming out of random homes, accidental smoke alarm trips etc. They always handle all of our issues with a smile and great professionalism. We thank you!
