Please be careful of people outside the masjid; they ask for money in the name of the mosque. The masjid has also put a notice up in English to warn tourists of this.

Aleaddin mosque. It has a rectangular plan. The walls are cut and rubble stone, brick and timber beams. It was used has a church before, and later it was arranged as a mosque. There are two protruding apse on the east facade. The door to the south has a simple cornice and a pointed arch. The windows are marble cased and pointed reinforcement arches on the lintes. The door to the north is half-two columns of marble twisted together on the sides as a pointed arch. The wooden and two-winged door is embossed. It was not known as the Panaya church before it was converted into a mosque.
