Nice but after seeing so many in Europe. It is just another one
Huge place with old stone ground. Plenty of shades thanks to the trees, in between a big fountain with drinkable water. A giraffe toy stands at the back which attracts little kids. By moving up and down its three pivots the giraffe moves its body too.
I liked this place. Lots of nice buildings, museums, monuments. And it's also very beautiful.
Christmas markets are held here. Has restaurants and bathrooms available.
It was my first day visiting the city and I was randomly walking around in the snow up to the hill to see what I could explore without a destination. Somehow I end up in this area that has so many Christmas booths set up and it turns out to be a Christmas Market. This place completely caught me by surprise
Unlike most Christmas Markets that is only having places to serve food to serve drinks to make sales of items and merchandise. this Christmas Market has much different craft activities for the visitors to participate.

Münsterplatz is the square where the Cathedral stands.
Today it is a popular meeting place, often used for concerts and events too.
At Christmas time, it is filled with Weihnachtsmarkt stalls and a magic atmosphere. That was the reason for which I visited it 😊

Nice and spacious square. I'm sure there are different street festivals here during holidays. Right near it it's the amazing viewing platform that will give you great views over the River. It's worth visiting especially since they are so close together.
