We really enjoy hiking I recommend for family
A great hike, has few trails from easy to hard, beautiful views.
Take overlook trail for a nice view, really nice little hike by the beach
Early morning, you can observe a lot of birds going about their business. The beach is beautiful and the atmosphere is serene. Later on during the day, do not even bother to go: lots of noise from the groups that come on the beach on their little moto-boats (I don't know the correct name), accompanied by lous music.
A lovely park with an easy, well marked loop trail that has spectacular views!
Nice loop next to the river with a small pebbles beach for kids to play. Though river water is dirty, the walk is still peaceful. They have a small cave on the trail to see, though we didn't go in.
It is a beautiful park in the heart of Cold Spring, overlooking the Hudson River, you can find information about the trail and you can guide yourself with it, keep in mind that it is a slope with an intermediate degree of difficulty, so your training is important but not decisive. There are two routes to consider, 2 or 4 hours. Based on your available time, we arrived at 11am, so we opted for the two-hour one. Beautiful views and spectacular trekking. Recommended..
