Delicious food, amazing view. We enjoyed watching the sunset while drinking our wine. The restaurant has a very rich wine menu. The Kaiserschmarrn was sooooo good!
The Sansibar is great! It is always great food, the staff is great every single time and you get an amazing view on the dunes, the beach and the sea! Tho it is a long way up to the Restaurant from the Parking Lot, the Parking Situation is absolutely great, which means that anytime me and my boyfriend come here we can safely park his Bugatti Chiron which makes it overall easier and an amazing experience!
We had a fantastic lunch! Balanced menu. Huge list of wines. Excellent service. Very welcoming atmosphere.
Even though Sansibar feels like a tourist trap, every time I visit Sylt I always come here. The view and atmosphere are stunning. The service staff is always lovely and happy to help. The food I usually go for something on their daily menu. Some were a hit (like garlic butter shrimps - yum!). Some were a missed. But whatever you decide to order, save some rooms for Kaiserschmarrn. It’s warm and so comforting. Overall, it’s a nice experience!

We were 8 people. 4 adults, 4 kids.
Went there 11:45 as the restaurant opens at 12 and you have to line up as the quantity of people allowed is limited (corona). So be there in time!.... But there are lots of places. Inside and outside as well.
The terrace offers some electric heating as well.
We had a table outside. Just big enough for 8 guests.
The playground is just close by. So you can relax and watch your children play.
Corona: all waiters wear a mask! Youl find desinfection on several entrances.
There is limited access to the area because of corona.
The food was good. Not outstanding but good. As it is Sylt... It's a bit expensive. But worthwhile.
We hat pasta, fish soup, sushi, salat, fish and chips, Kaiserschmarrn, coffee, water and truffle fries (!).
The service was very good. Quick, very friendly and really taking care of us.
So overall?
Yes it's a posh place, sponsored by Daimler, SAP and others. Prices are quit high but it's worthwhile going there. Plan to spend a few hours there. You won't regret it

The prices are exaggerated....Food is very good and a friendly staff.....Good location and ambiance....
