Worst hotel I have ever seen , not worth a penny

This is the worse place to go until they turned it into a shelter now it's even worse Rats ,Roaches, the workers in this hotel is very unorganized they just let these migrants take over and do whatever they wanted everyday if it wasn't for these maids it would be treated like a county jail that's how nasty it is in here now I would never recommend this place to anyone for peace and relaxation and I will be making more reports on this place

Surprised with all the negative reviews. I haven't stayed here in a number of years but this place used to be mint and was a bargain for the money. It used to be $20 to park your car unlimited as long as you didn't take it out and you were staying in the hotel. And the rooms were reasonable and clean and the views were excellent. The rooftop pool was mint. I think they were closed for a while during covid. I hope they didn't screw up an excellent place

Disgusting eyesore of a hotel now being used as an illegal immigrant shelter, who park their motor and battery operated vehicles on the sidewalk day and night. Turning the neighborhood into a 3rd world ghetto

This hotel is in dire need of a remodel.
And then there was a smell, a strange smell, that lingered in the room. I swear something died between the walls.

The rooms were dated pretty much the same as when I stayed there 18yrs ago. Plenty of storage space for clothes & beds were very comfortable. Bit dusty behind bedside table & grouting needs renewing in bathroom but beds were clean. Rooms were cleaned every day & fresh towels provided. Disappointed no tea making facilities in room. The complimentary drinks in foyer were only open for a few hrs in the morning. Staff were very friendly helpful & efficient with the exception of one. This has been reported to the manager. We weren't informed of the $22 daily service charge until we were checking out. We did not feel there was enough of a service provided to warrant this.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for a New York City hotel. We pulled up to on sight parking for only $10 a day throughout your stay. Went inside to check- in and the staff is super friendly. As my family made our way to the room we talked about the experience being great so far. The room we were given was nice and clean but the air conditioning seemed to not be working. I called the front desk and they sent a technician up within minutes. Turned out the A/C was broken and I thought “here we go”. The hotel was apparently booked and another room was looking to be out of the question. To my surprise wishing 10 minutes they were upgrading us to a bigger and even nicer room The entire stay was great at the skyline hotel. I absolutely recommend staying here. The pool on the penthouse level was clean and had a lifeguard on staff the entire time. Just a great experience. Very short walk to both Central Park and Times Square.
