If you're into military history, it's absolutely worth checking out. Free admission (donations are accepted) . Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The exhibits are very well crafted and tasteful. Go out of your way to see it.

This is a very interesting Museum, it's not overwhelming and everything is theater specific.
I would suggest going if you can

This is a well done visual history with interesting artifacts and lifelike figures. Starts at 1940 and walks you through to current conflicts. The volunteer staff were kind and shared the path to take through the exhibit. While we didn’t get to experience the simulator because it was down for repairs, we spent 1 1/2 hours walking through reading and viewing the exhibits. As veterans, it’s hard to leave without being impacted by the men and women who have served our country. As a free museum, I would definitely recommend visiting.

As you walk through the doors of the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum, you are immediately transported into the world of these elite soldiers. The museum's exhibits are designed to take you on a journey through the history of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces, from their early days in World War II to their current role in the Global War on Terrorism. It was a great experience.

Amazing museum and wonderful staff. I can literally spend 4 hours here and still feel as though I'm missing important historical facts. Definitely recommend.

Amazing museum! It's free and even kids will have a great time. The veterans memorial is on the other side of the road, which is also very interesting.

Free museum in Fayetteville. If you are into learning about military special operation and war history, this place is definitely a must-visit if you are in the Fayetteville area. There is also a simulator ride where you get into a platform that moves around pneumatically to simulate being military vehicles ($10 to ride). Gift store available.
