Remedy Cafe

I had a few minutes before I had to pick someone up nearby, I ordered a samosa and a tea thinking that I would sit for a moment and enjoy in the cozy atmosphere rather than sit in my cold car.

The lady asked me if I wanted it in a mug, I asked for a to-go cup. She said I could not have a to-go cup if I was staying as it was their policy. I said I would be staying for just a few minutes and then had to leave, she again said she could not put it in a to-go cup. I had to get the to-go cup and leave the restaurant with my also packaged up samosa.

Will not be returning.

A lovely pick me up for the day. I like this location in particular due to the double patio outdoor seating area, access to outlets, and spacious tables. The ginger chai is my absolutely favorite. Such a wonderful way to perk up the day.

Remedy Cafe impresses with its eye-catching drink presentations – truly a feast for the eyes. While the drinks often look fantastic, the taste sometimes falls a bit short, landing in the "okay" territory. A great spot for those seeking visual delights, but flavor aficionados might want a bit more.

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The food and beverages were undoubtedly delicious, with generous portions that left us satisfied. However, it's worth mentioning that the prices were on the higher side, which seems to be a common trend nowadays.

Our main disappointment came from the timing of our visit. The restaurant advertised an 8 a.m. opening, but it seemed unprepared for customers at that hour. The staff was just arriving, and it took a considerable 45 minutes for our orders to be ready. Consequently, we had only 15 minutes to rush through our meal, which was quite frustrating, especially when we had other commitments in the morning.

As much as we enjoyed the food, this experience has left us hesitant to return for breakfast when we have time constraints. It would be great if they could ensure timely service and have everything ready to go when they open their doors in the morning. With these improvements, we might consider giving them another chance.

Worst no other words. Who includes channa in each and everywrap doesn’t matter what you ordered or No you will find channa in everything. Even in butter chicken wrap. Horrible full waste of money. So disappointed. Instead have something else like McDonalds or Tim hortons or just Coffee from them.

Got 2 iced drinks and 2 pieces of cheesecake for $28 🥴. Seems expensive, especially considering the variety of flavors and size of the cheesecake have significantly decreased. A few years ago the pieces were larger and there would be multiple flavors (and several pieces of each flavor) available. Today there were only 2 pieces of cheesecake available and they were both cut so small. I found a photo of the berry cheesecake from a few years ago (in the glass) to compare to mine today (in the plastic).

This quaint boho style cafe was surprisingly a nice experience in terms of off beat ambience and delicious food and drinks. The unassuming appearance and the bunch of eclectic looking customers gave this place a unique flavor. One of the walls was decorated floor to ceiling with various different types teas, coffees, and serving utensils. The coffee we ordered was aptly brewed and the hummus/pita was spiced to perfection. Would definitely give it a try again in future.
