Camberley Fish Bar

For the past seven years of living in England, I must admit that I have tried several fish and chips shops, but I have to say that this particular one stands out as the best. Their chips and fish are simply delicious, and I enjoy them best when paired with some curry sauce. Although the curry sauce could be smoother and thicker, it still provides a great taste that complements the meal perfectly.

Food is good, but the staff isn’t polite at all.

I think this is the best takeaway that is anywhere near to my home in Yateley. There are several between us but this has the best chips. I like their combo sausages and chips. Their portions are very generous whether it's the chips or chicken nuggets. Always go there when in the high street. Opening hours means I can get a late lunch too!!

Camberley certainly has its fair share of good fish and chip shops and this is definitely one of them. The cod was very good from here - cooked just right with a nice thin crisp batter. The chips were nice too, not the crispest but not soggy either, and good sized portions.

A medium cod, ‘cone of chips’ and mushy peas cost £10.00. Both were cooked freshly to order. Served in a cardboard tray which was ideal, but slightly let down by the offer of a plastic bag - paper would have been better to avoid soggy chips on the drive home.

What can I say we ordered Two Cod and chips, the Cod was cooked perfectly as for the chips his was a portion for one (Large).

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Truly excellent, freshly cooked cod & chips. There are a few tables in what is essentially a take away, but was served on a proper plate with proper cutlery. Highly recommended

Best fish and chip shop in town. Highly recommend. Friendly staff and good prices. Looking forward to returning 😋
