Le Duplex

I do not recommend going here. The night of Thurs Oct 5th 2023, a female in our group was drunk and throwing up, security took her upstairs and told her to nap in a closed off area of the club (normally 2nd floor is hip hop but that night 2nd floor was closed). The head of security stayed with her and told us to finish our evening and pick her up when we were leaving and said we could check on her periodically to ensure she was safe, again the 2nd floor was closed off to public that night and dark with lights off. So we had reason to be concerned and check on her for her safety.

A female friend and I checked on her the rest of the night 2-3 times. Right before we were about to leave I went to check on her a 3rd time, a security guard grabbed me when I came back downstairs. I told them I was only checking on my friend who was drunk upstairs napping for safety reasons with security and walked away. 3-4 security then came and tried to tackle me on the dance floor 20 seconds later and ripped my shirt and broke my gold necklace which they never found. They let go of me once head of security stopped them at the stairs and let me back with my friend upstairs. I called the police and made a police report.

Very questionable/unprofessional security and safety concerns at this club. ❌

Duplex is amazing, i've never been to a place so cool! I tried it 3 times. The first 2 were absolutely terrible but i decided to give it another chance! And the third time they did not let us in. No explanation, nothing.
I'd rather put toothpicks under my toenails and strike the wall with all my power rather than trying it again. (+very expensive and full of insisting predators, beware girls)

Honest review:
The music doesn’t worth the €24 we pay each, i think its too expensive. There’s like 3 rooms with different music: commercial & reggaeton. We did have fun tho! The facilities are all proper, bartenders are nice. We went in as two girls on a friday night. I heard someone behind me got refused but idk why so yes i think they do pay attention on how you present yourself and stuff.

Shout out to the amazing security guards. They are observant and seem to really care about the well-being of people. 13€ for a single shot is pretty expensive but not unusual.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN PARIS, DO NOT GO.

The security guards and the “lady” behind them didn’t let us in for no reason. After asking why several times they told us we cant enter because one of us was wearing sandals.

BUT THATS NOT THE WORST PART ! We stepped away after they told us to, but the guards were so rude that they kept pushing us away on the sidewalk (even tho it’s a public street and they dont have the right to). Glad i didn’t pay 23€ to enter a racist place like this.

They did not allow us in just because we didn’t want a VIP table we wanted a regular one and we were a group of girls and boys. The security guys are so racist! Black guys after us without girls and without reservation we’re allowed to go in because the security guy talked to the manager for them! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in Paris.
Don’t waste your time it’s not worth it.

Very nice club. Got easy entry on a Saturday night in the month of August. Got easy entry, we were 2 male friends without any girls with us. The music was lit and the crowd and vibe was very good. Had a great Saturday night in Paris
