Sub Club Melbourne

Fun place with great staff. I unintentionally stumbled into this place and a group of regulars (I'm assuming by conversation and behavior) right before Halloween and had such a good time. Any time im in Melbourne, I'll be back!

Dinghy, dark and dank sub basement, adored mostly by the younger crowd.

Great club. Good atmosphere. I've come here regularly and enjoy my time here. Love the music that they play here.

The bartenders were all very friendly, easy to talk to and made my experience easier. However, a few things I worried about was:

1. The music wasn’t all that great; couldn’t really dance to it.
2. The location was off-putting and didn’t look very welcoming.
3. The space inside the club wasn’t very creative; dampened the mood.

Second visit, first time was a while ago which the entry was via the joint bar. This time was in the lane way. Wait time was reasonable and security staff and greeter was nice and helpful. What stood out was a patron was blocking my bag and I approached the bar to get security to help. A lovely lady on the stand near the bar helped get my bag. The guy didn't refuse thankfully and caught my train in time. Pass on the thanks to the lady. Much appreciated.

Could have hire better bouncer. So rude and racist, checked our ID and then told us is full. The next second he let one white guy in. Is fckin 20th century we are still dealing with discrimination against races. Incident happened on 13th around 2ish, fyi it wasn’t the Caucasian bouncer.

Nice ambience with dark, candlelit rooms. Definitely a must-go if you’re into heavy electronic and techno tunes 🎶🥴
