The Riverside Retreat, Pahalgam

It was a great and comfortable stay at the riverside retreat. Had all the facilities with the pleasant hospitality of the staff. There is jo complain of hot water and hot matress. Everything is perfect for a great stay. Must try for a pleasant and yummy food. One of the best stay in Pahalgam.

I would personally suggest that if u ever visit pahalgam , u must stay at this resort , it has all components of an ideal accommodation for suxh a location , the food especially was way too good ,it dint feel like we were at a hotel, the hotel staff was too supportive for our entire stay of two days.
Must go location!!

It was amazing stay at Riverside Retreat Pahakgam. Service was excellent, all staff are very friendly.

This place is located about 10-12 kms before Pahalgam.

Only best thing about this place is the view and access to the river.

They have 2 blocks one is very old with rooms in very dilapidated conditions with hardly any basic amenities. The reception block is new and have much better rooms and amenities.

The photos shown on website/ booking sites are of the new block but when you get there they will offer you the old one saying new ones are occupied … so pls make sure to specifically book new block rooms.

Their staff tries to cooperate but they aren’t properly trained and this whole place gives a feel of a guest house instead of a hotel.

We have visited this location at 26th March and 27th March..
2 night stays was amazing.
Rooms are cleaned and well maintened
Staffs were also polite and sincere about their work.
This hotel located beside lidder river so you can enjoy your morning tea here😊

Very nice place to stay at Pahalgam. Specially Mr. Amir was very supportive & all hotel staff was very good. Neat & clean rooms with fantastic view of mountains & river, it’s really amazing.
Wants visit soon along with family.

Frequent power cut issue (could be a general issue in that area and must not be hotel problem), they have generator which they run but sometimes we had to run after them to find someone from staff and request to turn on generator so that we can get hot water in bathroom, charge our phones. We saw room pics from Google maps and booked but we were given different rooms than what we saw on Google which disappointing a bit so I recommend when booked take pics of which room they are giving and not as per Google. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Will recommend it.
