Beautifully restored castle with great views. I've never seen such a high-quality restoration before, both exterior and interior works. This castle sets the standard.
The West "Vienna Gate / Viedenská brána " (also called Karolova) dates from 1712 when it was built on the occasion of the coronation of Charles III. (Father Maria Theresa) for the King of Hungary. Today the Vienna Gate is the main access gate to the castle.
