Bridge was built in 2013 and it tries to give the impression that it is very old. But I don’t mind it. It’s still pretty nice and hopefully the maintain the surrounding area for hundreds of years.
The Bridge of Civilizations was completed as recently as 2013, but it tries very hard to give the impression that it's a few hundred years old. The history obsession of the builders of many newer monuments in Skopje is very evident here. If you like kitsch, you will find a lot to like here.
