Beautiful home. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Very historic house. Would 100% recommend taking a tour.

Beautiful fall day and interesting stories to hear in the house. Campus is gorgeous this time of year. Entrance starts with a gift shop and loads of stories peppered throughout the residence about generations of the Carrolls, the enslaved that worked there, renovated antiques and rooms. Some original art. I only had a shortened impromptu tour. Worth the trip.

This was a very interesting historical home and museum. The guided tour of the house was very good. The guide went through the history of the Carroll family and provided details about the historical artifacts in the house. I really enjoyed it.

It is a great piece of early American, Maryland and Baltimore history. The tour was time well invested and our tour guide, Brianna, did an excellent job!

The home is beautifully restored, the tour is informative and personal. We learned about the history, the lives of the family, the servants and enslaved, and their personal stories. Every room is filled with Carroll family pieces or period pieces, photos, descriptive plaques. It was a bargain at $8 a person, gift shop is cute, personnel are friendly and knowledgeable.

I've only walked through here once, but the first impression was very nice, and the museum often hosts various displays and historical presentations. Other than that, this place serves mostly as a feature on the Hopkins campus rather than a place you would visit.
