What an awful experience! The food was salty, meat dry and old, paella was a caricature of the dish - we were not able to eat it. What's more the staff didn't speak English. I'm not saying they have to, but they didn't even try to speak slowly to make us understand. They simply didn't care at all.

If you want to have good memories from Altea we don't recommend eating there. The food was simply bad. It was too salty, paella was dry, didn't feel fresh and tasty at all. AVOID!

Typical Spanish food. Lovely staff. Reasonably priced

I was recommended this place to eat paella from a local. And it did not dissapoint.

I am afraid the service was very very slow. The bread was very dry and after a very long wait we were told they had ran out of one of the tapas dishes we ordered. It was also quite expensive for what we had. Thank goodness the sun was out and we was warm whilst waiting

Always use this restaurant when we are in Altea. The food and service are aways excellent. We'll worth a visit

today's lunch was without emotion, without experiences. paella for two people.....it had nothing to do with paella and the ingredients used were a selection of "what dum gave". and we couldn't even eat it in four......horrible experience and the chef should go to hell. cuttlefish and calamari were good, the chef had nothing to spoil here. otherwise kfc level. next time you visit the city of Altea, I recommend another company.
