Spent 3 nights in this hidden gem of a hotel. Luxurious surroundings, cosy fire, quirky features, supplemented by courteous and helpful staff. An unusual combination of being very central for all attractions and being very quietly located. Room was well appointed and clean. Thoroughly recommend a stay.
Excellent stay .The Parliament Hotel has a wonderful ambience This is our second stay here and it was just as good as last time . The hotel was clean,beautifully decorated ,the rooms were lovely and cosy .The breakfast was outstanding and a good selection . The staff were really friendly and willing to help .The welcoming reception was wonderful to sit in by the fire with a glass wine ,either recharging your batteries after a busy day exploring Edinburgh or chat with the other guests .This hotel is a gem ,walking distant into Edinburgh and we would definitely recommend it .Thankyou to the wonderful staff for making it a special stay again.
What a surprising gem this was. The location was perfect - walking distance from Edinburgh Waverly station, a minute's walk from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop, and at the foot of Calton Hill.
The staff was efficient and welcoming and the ambience was true Scottish. Amazing place and a fantastic experience. Thank you for making our first experience so memorable

Great location, amazingly priced <100, front desk staff was the friendliest lady ever and very professional! It felt warm and welcoming. The only downside was that when the room above us would run the sink, had a shower or used the toilet - we would hear it running down the pipes that were in the corner of our room, it was unfortunate, because someone decided to have a shower well past midnight for an hour 😭
The room.was lovely. Quiet, clean, warm and with nice furnishings.
Our room looked out to beautiful looking offices and the hills towards Leith.
The TV wasn't working. We reported it but nothing was done, but we were only there for one night anyway, but would have thought they could have knocked a bit off our bill because the TV wasn't working, but they didn't It's always nice to watch a bit of the news or something.
Breakfast was a seperate charge. Nearly £20 each for a breakfast.
They don't do evening meals.
The place is a bit hidden so took a while to find it on Google Maps.

We truly enjoyed our stay - the location is perfect, the room is clean, the breakfast is very good the hotel staff are nice. The only thing the hotel can improve on is lack of place in the bathroom to have guests put their own stuff on, just a few shelves will do. Highly recommend.
I had a pleasant stay at the Parliament House Hotel.
The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early after an early morning flight.
The hotel is clean, quiet, and centrally located; an easy walk to city center and the tram station.
The breakfast was very good, and made to order.
The only drawback is that there are many stairs for anyone that minds them.
Overall I’d highly recommend it
