I'll start with the positives; the restaurant has a french vibe: decoration, furnishing and music. The service was professional and the toilet was clean. The wine selection was great.
The negatives: we were offered a *restricted* menu (between the 18th and new year's), nothing that resembles a classic french cuisine on the entrée or main dishes; no duck, no bœuf tartare. We ended up with a traditional German/Austrian Christmas dish; goose with red cabbage and spinach: goose was very underflavored, sauce was great. For the quality, it was definitely overpriced. There was no obligatory service fee as some reviews mentioned.

Ein schönes französisches Restaurant mitten in Berlin mit guter französischer Küche, edlen Weinen aus Frankreich und engagierten und jeder Zeit höflichem Personal. Das Ambiente des Lokals versetzt den Gast nach Frankreich, sobald er das Lokal betritt. Die Preise sind der Qualität der Speisen entsprechend.
Wir waren am Sonntag zum Frühstück im Louis Laurent. Das Ambiente im Spätsommer dort draußen zu sitzen ist sehr schön. Für den Preis der Frühstücksplatte Louis Laurent (38,50 Euro) war die Auswahl der Speisen aus unserer Sicht allerdings zu dürftig. Etwas merkwürdig empfanden wir, dass Groupon den Gutschein für das Restaurantfrühstück teilweise teurer verkauft, als im Restaurant zu zahlen wäre. Das ist uns zumindest noch nicht vorgekommen und hat einen merkwürdigen Beigeschmack.
One of the best French restaurants for me in Berlin !) all the time come back for the same dishes . Super delicious. Just today escargots were a bit dry and not the same taste with the species as always 😌. Here always want to come back

Nice place. Great main dishes! We ordered duck and fish. Good portions, fresh and tasty food. I also recommend the onion soup. It was delicious.
I would have added a couple more varieties of hard cheese to the cheese platter, though, instead of soft cheese.
You could also add a few varieties of red wine, offering by the glass.
The main and significant disadvantage - the impossibility to pay by bank card.
In my opinion it is unacceptable in a restaurant with an above-average price category, where we paid 150 euros for dinner for two.
