Eagle Creek Boat Ramp

This boat ramp is great for kayakers. It’s so nice to be able to pull right up to the water to put our boats in. No hassle, just drop them and go.

What amazed me about the reservoir was the different nationalities there. I got to speak for a short time with 2 women from Africa ( who had some nice good music from a CD player ) and one nice young man from Afghanistan, all 3 have been here for less than 5 years. We let the guy fish with one of our poles, and he actually caught a fish a small bluegill. It really thrilled him, he told us he went fishing back home, and wished he could return home, but did say the Taliban could also kill him, he said his father worked for the US for 16 years, and his family had to leave when we pulled out of the war. I'd never got to meet this man if not for that war, I still don't like wars.,
Besides all of that I caught and released 7 fish and the guy I went with caught 5 all with worms

The City of Indianapolis Parks Department will not allow a boat with a motor larger than 10 hp on the lake. It doesn’t matter if a electric trolling motor is only being used. You’ll get a very large fine just for launching your boat. Sad the sailing club has this lake locked down from legal fishermen.

Great spot to put in kayak ,paddle board or your bass boat . 10 hp limit motor restrictions but see them in the water all the time.

The DNR and Park Ranger efforts to remove Hispanics seems to be working with officers on site several times each week. No fun now...

Its a great place if you have a boat and want to take it out. I fished from the bank, they have a nice concreted area with benches to fish from only I didnt catch anything.

If you're into meditation outside its a perfect place to meditate. I feel safe. The area is clean. The early boaters are so nice. Its a beautiful place
