Visited as an adult couple while on holiday. All the signs are in Dutch, German and English, and the staff were happy to help when our Google translating wasn't good enough to make an educated guess. Despite the drizzle, there were plenty of species pottering about under the trees, with no evidence that they had been forced outside (and plenty of other species that had sensibly taken themselves inside to gaze out the windows at the rain!). Got close to quite a few different species, in particular the squirrel monkeys, red howler monkeys and Barbary macaques, but all the animals we saw seemed well adjusted to captive life and not afraid of doing their own thing close to visitors. Gorilla show is only in Dutch, but this is noted on signs, and would have been fine if the silverback hasn't come out, taken a bite of chicory and then decided that the offering was not outweighing the rain and scarpered sedately off! Can't blame him! Humans had jackets and were sitting under a canopy in the dry, after all!

Amazing all day experience. Very big park, most monkeys walking freely. The gorilla show is a must! Only downside is the limited eating facilities, besides krokets and hot dogs there is only fries if you get hungry even though it is really an all-day activity
Fantastic experience, get up close with all species of monkeys and plenty of activities, refreshments and fun for all. I was visiting Dutch parents and we all enjoyed the visit, a place for all ages.
Beautiful zoo, with 35 species of monkeys, including gorillas, chimps, orang utans, bonobos, gibbons, but also sloths and cabibaras. Great park with surprising enclosures. Parking is a bit of a walk, but affordable (10 euro for a day) and the walk is through the park where the zoo is located in.
Lovely park in a beautiful forest setting. The drive there is lovely as well, don't take the highway, take the N-numbered-routes! In the park many areas where monkeys just walk among the people. Don't need to plan for a whole day, doable in about 4 hours (cheaper tickets from 2:00pm available).
There is a lot of walking, but the children have an incredible joy to see the monkeys so close. In the center of the zoo there is also a huge playground for children, where you can easily spend an extra hour. The best way to see many species of monkeys, which have been created in conditions close to natural. A place worth spending every euro.
