Beautiful little park. It’s for “village residents only” so we came with friends in the area. Super cute with a little stream and people area. Apparently there is a security guard here sometimes but we didn’t see one.

Love this park! Beautiful trails

Quite. Nice bridge across. Sandy Beach. Great for short walks.

This park is right along the Water and always seems to be empty. Great dog park. I’ve heard reports of crazy neighbor who tries to stalk people who use dog park but I haven’t had any encounters and I’m sure my dogs would love to say hello.

We have had great experiences at this dog park! Our dog loves to visit and has plenty of room to run. There is a beautiful river next to the park with two waterfall features that are a lovely oasis for pet owners while their pups run around. The park it's self gets 5 stars but based on the below can only give it 4.
I've heard the neighbors across the street complain all the time if dogs are barking too loudly. Complain to the extent of calling the police which is just obsurd when you live across from a dog park and a lake that has geese constantly being louder then any dog, I experienced that first hand today... Just a cramugin it sounds like.
Also I've heard the that the town comes often (3x+ per day) during the warmer months to check if the dogs in the park have been registered with Croton Village. You can't be a Cortlandt resident it has to be Croton Village.. which is a silly rule as well. Registration of dogs should be open to all Cortlandt residents and the village would make more money. More money to pay for the waste in police time the neighbor takes up.
Hopefully the town and the people who enjoy the park find a way to make this dog park enjoyable for all because it would be a shame if it was closed down because of 1 unhappy person versus the many residents who enjoy using it.

Very beautiful park! Small foot bridge that allows you to walk to the center of the steam is profoundly relaxing and exhilarating. There is a parking area, no actual bathroom just Porta Potty. Dogs and pets are allowed but remember to clean up afterwards and no swimming.

A little gem of a park. The only place you can let your dog run unleashed in Croton-on-Hudson. For residents with recreation IDs and proper dog licensing only. Park rangers don't play. You have been warned. Rangers are frequently called by adjacent homeowners who want the dog park closed.
