Timhotel Le Louvre

I was truly impressed by this inexpensive, no thrill, extremely well located hotel at literally 2 steps from the Louvre museum. Rooms are literally larger than the Westin Vendôme, check in was fast and friendly and the overall experience quite seamless. Credit where credit is due : for an inexpensive hotel in Paris, Timhotel Le Louvre is a definite winner!

My room had been visited the first evening while I was out for Dinner.
It arrived because the door to my room didn't close properly. Since then I've been fighting as hard as I can to get the hotel to take responsibility and to get their insurance to reimburse me for everything that was stolen.
Some of the police officers who came to take fingerprints thought it might have been a member of staff.
There is NO video cameras at each floor....
I've lost a lot of valuable things and the management doesn't take this incident seriously!
I had been very patient until now but when I see how they are treating me I want to warn you all!

The location was so good, but the others were just acceptable.
I stayed for 5 days during fashion week, so it was super expensive.
The breakfast menu is same and basic, but it was okay.
I wanted a fridge in the room.

We stayed in April 2023, yes the room was small and the shower minute. But as a base from which to explore, it was perfect! Very well located, we could walk to practically everything and what was too far (Tour Eiffel) the Seine boats were a couple of minutes away. Helpful staff and convenient breakfast room. It was just what we needed. Recommended if you just need a base. If you are after luxury, try the Georges V.

The rooms were clean but extremely small. The shower was so small it was difficult to turn around. Staff were very nice and helpful. The location is fantastic.

The room is small. The bathrooms should be more "international" it is very easy for the water to leak out. there are many stairs, we have been traveling in France for 1 month, therefore we bring very large luggages and going down and up 3 to 6 steps is heavy. For example, there is no point going down 4 steps and up 3, it is better to install a ramp to continue straight ahead.

Rooms are very small. The first room we had, it was hard getting in & out of the shower. If you are a large person, you will not fit. We did request a better room & got it the next day. Better, but not by much. Do not recommend.
