Shiraz Restaurant

The place is too expansive for thevfood it offers. So if you want to waste your money its an ideal place.
The Food: The food is not at all tasty. The worst food ever i tried in any Iranian Restaurant. No taste at all. Cannot believe the reviews here.
Service: I would say very nice
. The staff is nice and polite.

The restaurant is located in a quiet place near the Mathildenhöhe. The staff are friendly!!

I can only recommend this place, they offer a variety of delicious persian dishes, the service is great, and you can enjoy your food being surrounded by a very cozy persian atmosphere

This was my 1st time in Shiraz, and I am so happy that I found this place. I went there with my German friend so I was a bit anxious what experience he is going to have but indeed, at the end, he was very pleased. I start with absolutely friendly & kind staff, impeccable service and very delicious food. I highly recommend this place and when I come back to Darmstadt again, I do go back to Shiraz. Keep up the great job going!

I come from Ukrainian origins, hence the thought of getting a certain meat dishes wouldn’t do justice is what I thought but I was flabbergasted 😮 by the shear taste specifically the hand squeezed sheesh meat 😋🤤 The rice too was too so unusual to me, from my understanding cranberry berries added a nice citric aftertaste. And don’t forget the cucumber sauce 😉 View on the outside terrace is immaculate too 🫢

The service and atmosphere of this place was good but unfortunately I can’t say the same about the food. The plate in the first photo wasn’t a bad option but seriously 35€…? The fish was a huge disappointment; it was tiny and completely tasteless, however, vegetables were way too salty. Rice that was served with fish was too hard. The lemonade (lime) barely had any taste either (it definitely didn’t taste like lemonade, I don’t know if the drink was just bad on that day or in general); and that was 6.99€. If this place wants to maintain this ridiculously high price, good-ish service and pretty decor aren’t enough. Please make sure your food is better prepared, at least a 6.99€ lemonade should taste like lemonade, and I don’t think this is much to ask…
