A nice little place to bike or walk
Been walking the path between the canal and the raritan since I was a kid. Great place to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery!

Definitely a nice place to go for a walk.
Yet one more natural gem threading along the Raritan for all to enjoy. Nice parking here, with easy access to eventful walks and scenes of lazy beauty. Some invigorating narrow paths with bubbling roots and water plants - and watch out for the turtles crossing right in front of you!
Shady uncrowded walk on a hot day. Paved trail leads directly onto the Duke Island Park bikeway and then into the park proper.
If you're looking for a tranquil get away the Greenway is the place.
Passing thru Duke Island Park and running into Somerville it is the perfect place to get in touch with nature.
For the more adventurous you can opt to follow the Raritan Power Canal path thru the park and ending at the Basilone Statue.
Another option is to follow the trail starting in Raritan that leads to the Duke Farms, another great walk.
