As a Civil engineer i love to see Persian heritage sites like this, they show you the rich culture of persians and how advanced we used to be.
A tip i can give anyone who wants to visit this place is to read abour this place before visiting it, because there's not any good and in depth information on the site.

one of the most incredible and amazing plcces i've ever visited.
A very unique place to visit, however you have to drive a long distance to get there. Do not trust navigation applications for driving duration, consider at least 3 hours from Zanjan on normal weather conditions. The road had magnificent sceneries and fun to drive (During daylight). Most of the road has good quality but better you go there with your car tank up.
No special facilities you can find there but it's better to go there on spring or summer because during winter hardly you can get there !

This is absolutely the most amazing and unique historical and natural site in entire Middle East.
Takht-e-Soleyman:
Azargoshnasb Fire Temple built during Sassanid dynasty as the holy space for the Kings and military class (worriers) to be blessed by Ahuramazda. Was repurposed and used by Illkhanid Mongol dynasty after Islam.
It has an artesian calcite pond, with 112 meter depth connected to the underground water aquifers and magically stays isothermal at 21 deg C, during all seasons. This breathtaking pond is famous to be the heart chakra of mother Earth.
Takht-e-Soleyman, has been, is and will be an elevated geographical and spiritual site for the souls of the people of this land, to stay in full gratitude for what their ancesstors left for them as a legacy, value and identity. #Takht-e-Soleyman will be significant in shaping the future identity of the people of this land, #Iranians.

There is a car park which you can camp if you like. The road from Dandy is bumpy but it worth to visit the complex. The lake which is a spring is amazing on top of the hill.

We visited here in spring. So it was astonishing. The landscape, history and colors were amazing. The fact that there is an Artesian well with 122 m depth is one of the amazing thing one can expect up in this place. The color of water is very beautiful as well.
