Vakil Bazaar

It is an old bazaar where you can find souvenirs of Kerman including spices and cupper utensils. It is calm and relaxing

There are real security issues here. I have seen with my own eyes that a young man knifed and killed another man and ran away. It happened right at the middle of the day in the main corridor of the Bazar, while people were watching. Those kind of things happen as ordinary fights between local gangs. There are also criminals who attack people and steal their belongings. It is very unfortunate that such historical place has such weak security and the surrounding neighborhood is such dangerous and nasty one.It all comes from poverty and activities of drug dealers around that area. I hope officials take it more seriously and provide enough security for everyone to explore the area safely.

Amazing place, a must-see especially the carpet and copper craft sections.

An excellent place to just kick your feet up and relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the tradition and history of the bazaar.
