Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Having discovered this restaurant in San Diego a few years ago ( i think that location is closed now), we were in love with the charming atmosphere of this Italian chain restaurant. So welcoming, and the food....yummeee! After a few hours in the park, we needed carbs, and this fit perfectly. Luckily, we hit lunch hours, so we didn't need to order the huge family size meals for the 2 of us. Gets busy so adjust your day if you are in a hurry!
Wish it was closer, would love to take my mum to this place!

Order the chicken parm...its divine!

They don’t allow stroller inside. There are good options for vegetarians but remember their small order is also good for at least 3 people as it’s a family style restaurant. One order of their decadent chocolate cake was good enough for 6 :) loved the caprese and the mixed greens salad.
Our waiter was so cheerful, it made us all more energetic :)

We decided to try Buca because it’s the highest rated restaurant in city walk. I’m not even sure where to begin. The food is no reflection of the amazing staff. I get having to do cost effective cooking, I get that this is located in a theme park. But the food was beyond awful. The chicken parmigiana was so flavourless, we ended up using some of the pepperoni from the pizza to season it. The pizza was literally soaked in grease and the garlic bread didn’t even pass the teenager test. The knife that kills it all is that this place is expensive! Three people with a $150 bill! There is so many better options literally down the road.

Just had dinner with my friend and everything was phenomenal. The food was delicious and came out quick. We were seated with no wait, and our server Christopher was very friendly and helpful! Give this guy a raise, Buca!!

Dan was our server and was polite and professional. Took good care of us! We had just left universal studios and wanted some good Italian food! There was a 45 minute wait so it wasn't a big deal.

Wife had take us out for my 34th birthday 🎈🎂 it was great! Great portions and best of all the decorations!

Amazing place. Easy to see why it's the highest rated restaurant in City Walk. Bring a big appetite. Portions are giant. Great atmosphere, clean environment, friendly staff. If you're lucky you might even get Christopher as your waiter. I will definitely be back. Would recommend to anyone and everyone that finds themselves in the area.

Our server Christopher made sure our dinner experience here was great and food was great and on time, didn’t have to wait long after we ordered. He was on top of his game keep drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a great night out for dinner
