Saw The Shylock and the Shakespeareans per a recommendation on The Atlantic’s newsletter. Great performance given by an amazing cast, crew, and staff

Off off almost to the Hudson but capably staffed. Casting peeps should interview the femme bartender for future filmTV work ...she has that spark.

Typical Black box theater with cushioned folding chairs but plenty of legroom. Ramped entrance awkward for midperf restroom emergencies. Men's room had several stalls and urinals. Plenty for the seating total.

Show was in previews but it starred an actual star. Hope they provided limo service. Several blocks from Christopher st subway with a CitiBike rack nearby.

Not my vibe creatively but I'll never forget the kindness of the bar staff. Good customer service so rare these days. God bless her and the actors. The 🎭 people on stage were gorgeous and more talented than the material deserved. Needed a director with a whip/metronome to pick up the pace. Farce best done rapidly and over the top.

Nice small local theater with a wide variety of very unique shows. Pretty cheap tickets and usually some kind of promotion is available.

Great theater to go watch a play! They have the audience interact with the play, and you feel like you are a part of it. Go and watch Close Up, showing right now!

Small off-off-broadway theater that brings the audience and the actors together with its intimate black box design. Located next to the Christopher St. Pier and many little bars.

Getting into the building is work. No one responds in the office and you wait around outside hoping for someone to exit. Ive had this experience during a heat wave as well as in the middle of a winter Blizzard! At least they're consistent.
