Gibraltar Golf Course

The management were honest - the greens do need a lot of work done but they’re just reopening again under new management after COVID and the floods so it’s worth giving it some time to recover and no doubt become stunning again. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy the views in front of the pro shop - it really is a beautiful setting for a break after the first nine. The course is short but has some interesting holes and the carts are brand new and well maintained. Aaron at the pro shop provided such great service and we look forward to being back soon. Played twice over the Easter weekend , 2nd round , course had dried out and loved the course. Greens are on way back, not perfect but a really enjoyable course

I recently stayed at the Gibraltar and played the front 9 and most of the back. It is such a scenic course and whilst recent weather has been harsh, the course is in fine condition. It has a great range of holes that offer variety in play.

The young bloke running the pro shop is great too, we received above and beyond service.

Also, if you get the chance, I highly recommend a stay at the attached Gibraltar hotel.

Very disappointed with the quality of this golf course despite the positive reviews. Greens are virtually unplayable, fairways full of clover and fairway edges/rough is completely overgrown. Has the makings of a good course with lots of variety, but a lot more time (over 12 months) needs to go into this course to make it playable. Despite arriving and seeing the bare greens, we gave it a chance but lasted only 5 holes, then abandoned and headed to Bowral Golf Course. Avoid for now

We had such an amazing stay at Gibraltar last year. The golf course was well looked after with a beautiful pond and some lovely ducks around. The hotel was even better with stunning scenic views. Will definitely come back for more.

My partner and I have played at the Gibraltar Golf course on numerous occasions during our visits to the southern highlands. The course is well maintained and is well versed in ranging difficulties per hole. Definitely recommend checking out if you’re ever in Bowral

This is a great country course! I played the full 18 and used every club from my bag - great long drives but a short game is still very much needed
