The food was really bad. Resort food is often mediocre, and sometimes very good, but this was well below my already low expectations. Lobster was likely not even lobster. It tasted so bad. It was so overcooked the "lobster" turned to a texture similar to spoiled mashed potatoes. I'm convinced it wasn't actually lobster but I have no idea what it was. Dessert was equally bad.

Our dining experience at MareNostrum was nothing short of exceptional! The staff exhibited a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness, making our evening memorable from start to finish. The lobster dish was a true masterpiece, melting in our mouths with every bite.

The crepe appetizer was a delightful surprise, reminiscent of a first-class upgrade to a childhood favorite, the pizza pocket—only much more sophisticated. MareNostrum is a must-visit, especially for those staying at Barcelo Maya. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a culinary adventure that exceeds expectations.

Was really excited for Caribbean lobster. Wasn't the favorite of the whole group, not much meat and not overly tastey. Staff is amazing and so ontop of their game.

Went for dinner, did not really like the appetizers or main dish. I had the mussels and assortment for an appetizer. I really enjoyed the brownie for dessert and mushroom soup. I preferred the buffet to this restaurant.

Good sea food, well prepared , beautifully served. The "noisy" young friends spoiled the atmosphere - what can one do 😀

The most gross 😝 seafood me and my wife ate. Supper dry. Sukcs I can't post a video, my wife got salmon and I got the lobstertail.

Amazing place , to be honest my husband and myself we are not big fans of sea food restaurants. We didn't even plan to go there . But last day we changed our minds... and thanks God for that. Food was amazing, service was excellent.
