One of the most popular historical restaurants in Istanbul. We ordered zucchini blossoms and 2 main lamb dishes. The portions were really generous, food genuine, simple and really tasty. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Basic good food. Nothing extraordinary. Lamb shish kebabs were more like a stew meat. The place is located inside of the spice bazar, it’s quite old school in decor. Good for lunch, I would not choose it for dinner.

Pandeli is a vibe ! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by an enchanting atmosphere. The place looks awesome, the service is on point and the food is out of this world. No surprise it’s got those Michelin stars. Easily one of my top picks in Istanbul m. Can’t wait to swing by again !

A nice restaurant hidden at the nook of the spice bazaar. Took the stairs as soon as yiu enter the spice bazaar, and you'll be greeted with Pandeli.
Food was amazing, the dessert was absolutely amazing - this is my first time trying quince, it was wonderful.

We (group of 7) came here for lunch after our visit to topkapi palace. Good thing that we made reservations in advance so we didn’t have to wait for our table.

We were seated near the window with a great view 👍 which was excellent. We started with a round of starters including: Charcoal grilled eggplant salad, tarama (fish dip), pouf (Turkish pastry with cheese and herb filling), pan fried zucchini, spoon pomegranate salad with walnuts. They were all delicious. They were gone in no time!

For entries, we ordered a few Lamb kebabs with roasted eggplant, grilled lamb sirloin, and grilled seabass. Again, the dishes were made to perfection. The only thing I would point out was we would prefer the dish a little bit warmer.

For dessert, we had a few Turkish teas, Turkish coffees with some almond cookies, and Tavukgöğsü (caramelized milk pudding with chicken breast) I was mainly surprised about Tavukgöğsü as I thought it was just sweet chicken breast but gladly not the case. 😅

Overall this restaurant, located inside of spice market, is definitely worth a try if you visit Istanbul. Also keep in mind that this place only open for lunches, no dinners!

Highly recommended! Pandeli is a place where real local tastes are prepared with a masterful technique and served with its unique simplicity, here you can enjoy your meal in a historical place, and if you live here, you will become a regular in a short time. In my last visit I fell in love with quince dessert 😍 You should visit in the middle of the day to be able to access legendary menu items 😃

A century old restaurant, Pandeli sits right at the end of the Spice Bazaar in Istanbul. Audrey Hepburn was among the visitors to Pandeli. Their Yaprak sarma is shaped like a ball, which is pretty cool and different. The Burak, though, was a letdown - it was kind of empty and lacked cheese, and it felt like it wasn’t freshly made. None of the dishes that I ordered were something to rave about.
I noticed something about the seating too. The rooms with windows and nice views seemed to be for the local crowd, while tourists got the darker, windowless room. An American family wanted a window seat, but got a ‘sorry, it’s full’ even though there was a clear empty table. They were told it was ‘reserved. That table stayed empty the whole time I was there, until I finished my lunch around 4 pm. Honestly, I’d say the place is just #average
