Jerk chicken and plantains were really good. I'm looking forward to going back next week and trying the curry. The workers were nice, the restaurant was clean, what now can you ask for

Was in the area for work and decided to stop by for the 8.99 jerk chicken lunch special. Got a drumstick and two thighs charcoal smoked to perfection with a perfect savory and sweet jerk seasoning liberally applied. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. For sides I had rice and peas with a delicious curry gravy, and sweet tender fried plantains so good I treated them like a dessert. Food came out hot and fast. My buddy had a beef patty and enjoyed that too. It looked flaky and delectable. Would definitely suggest stopping by this little gem.

I gave them a try for the first time last week and have been back 3 times since! Their oxtail with rice and peas is to do for. Def better than the other Jamaican restaurants I’ve tried.

I had an issue with my payment and the owner was extremely accommodating in refunding me. From my experience, their customer service has been stellar.

We ate here today as we normally try to find a good Caribbean food location every time we are in Houston. We had the Curry Chicken and Oxtail plates. The flavors of both of the plates were phenomenal! All of the sides were also delicious (I particularly enjoyed the Mac N Cheese). The food was not only stellar but the customer service was even more so. The very kind lady that took our order was so caring and really made every moment of our experience special. I would 100% recommend Island Tingz if you’re looking for some delicious food and amazing service! The music was also popping. 10/10!!

Great spot had jerk chicken. So juicy and spicy. Perfectly cooked. Good service and interesting menu. Would want to come back to try more of the menu to be honest. But jumping on a plane so this will be the only Tim eating here. Would be a regular otherwise. Thanks for the great food!!

I had been searching for a place that served good jerk chicken. This place was recommendation I was given to assist my search efforts as I had tried two other place looking for a place to cater for my daughter’s baby shower. I dined in and and one bite into the jerk chicken I knew this was IT!!! I meet the owners and they were great to do business with. The day of the baby shower we were running late and they called to check in as to ensure they kept the food hot! And boy was the food still piping with steam by the time it made it to the venue! I give this business 2 👍🏽

Pleasant, friendly service, delicious authentic food and great dancehall/reggae music. Delicious oxtail and the perfect Jamaican flaky beef patties. The roti tasted a bit different to Trinidadian roti 🇹🇹, it was definitely more of Jamaican curry used. It was a bit salty but the oxtail and beef patties were very tasty and proper👌
