Wife told me to clean the attic so I randomly took 3 out of 8 cases of games and sold to the store. After an hour, the offer was merely few hundred dollars for over 30+ cib ps1&2 , snes ff6?, consoles and other junks.
Every store must maintain a decent profit margin. But I could had just picked a few of my games and sold over ebay for the same price in lesser time. However I ending up taking this offer only because I believed both party should't had work for free. And I did haggled for additional $20 to pay myself for an hour wasted. lol
As to the rest of 5 cases which also contain every single (not imported) rpg from snes, dreamcast, ps1 and ps2 plus early edition of pokemon and magic cards will be in my fleabay or dumpster if too much hassle.
Cheers~

They sell Pokémon cards for not a lot of money I’m very happy they don’t overprice it for some cards it’s like 2.99 or 1.99 I’m very happy this place exists I love it 10/10 I’m happy.

Good evening,
I do appreciate your response to my last review. I will address everything you have said. I am saddened to see the tone of your response, and I apologize that my review was seen as an attack and was met in kind with a response filled with attacking tones.
My review was not an attack.
First off, in terms of my comment, I will agree with you that it was rude and petulant. While I understand your response, I wish you responded differently and in a more transparent way.
Secondly, in terms of your price labels, you are correct. Almost anything in the store is marked and priced (labeled). Almost. This excludes items such as amiibos, plushies, and items in your glass cases (I may be wrong about the two former items however I remember shopping for those two at some point, and they were not priced, I could be wrong if they are now priced). However, there are still items in the store that are not labeled. If it is not labeled, then how are these items priced? As a customer, it just comes off as slightly unorganized, untransparent, and arbitrary. I am asking seeking reason, not seeking to attack.
There does seem to be a bit of confusion on your end, because I was talking about price LABELS (sorry I was not clear). When I mentioned how prices were determined by eBay (this is referring to price of item that is not labeled), that is what I was referring to. I was not saying that you simultaneously and paradoxically didn't have prices on your items yet have defined pricing parameters. Sorry for confusion, but this is what I meant.
Lastly, I'm sure Scott is very kind to many customers and he has done wonderful things for his community. I personally did not feel that way from my interactions, but again, I was just telling people my experience. That is the purpose of a store review.
As I previously mentioned, I was really disappointed with the sarcastic, haughty, unprofessional, and condescending tone I received. But again, I am sorry for my previous actions and that you felt they were a form of an attack. I hope that we can continue to have a conversation about these subjects. Lastly, I hope that you consider unblocking my Instagram account, because my comment (while terribly and rudely worded) came from a source of care for the business. If my account is unblocked, I will take down these 1 star reviews, and I will hopefully (after your response) come away with a better and more transparent understanding of your store. Thank you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Very immature and petulant store. Extremely unprofessional. Has no prices on anything, so customers constantly have to ask for prices and feel uncomfortable to do so. Prices are based on eBay which is not reliable and many of their prices are overpriced, and are not representative of the item's actual value. Store constantly lies such as promising return of popcorn with purchases among other things, and generally lacks customer transparency. When I saw their Black Friday "deals," I could not help but laugh and left a comment. Was my diction harsh? Perhaps so, I said "These are terrible deals." However, this is a simple customer's critique of a store, something I am well in my right to do. I was met with an immediate block. Why not just delete the comment? Or respond in a transparent way? I will tell you why, the owner is quite unfriendly and is lazy to be a transparent, customer-friendly business man. On top of everything I just said, he is also pretty rude to customers, grunting when they say hello or goodbye to him. Take what you will with this review. I hope the owner sees this and responds because I genuinely just made a simple critique of his store, and don't understand why I was blocked.

Horrible store. They do not clean any items. They do not refurbish anything. They even store items in ways that leads to damage. Once again I will repeat it's a waste of time tryna shop or return your items. The owners response and lack of accountability is a clear indication of someone who has no problem ripping people off. You wrote to bring back broken items to be cleaned further?! They were never cleaned and last time I checked cleaning a broken item doesn't fix it. A disc resurface doesn't even guarantee a fix which you clearly don't do in your store. I hope the workers their find a better partner. Bad seller and overall not good for the gaming community.

I called up a million stores in NYC that were taking retro games to take my copy of “Clayfighter: Sculptor’s Cut for N64” and every one of them were telling me they couldn’t take it because of many incidents in the past with people trying to sell fake copies. I sent a few photos to POPnGAMES and they took it off my hands the day after, and for a pretty great price as well. Not as high as I had hoped for because of some condition issues but, it was pretty fair and I needed the money fast. I couldn’t be happier with the turnout and, even while browsing their game collections while waiting to get to the front counter, they were selling so many retro games still in box for such low prices! I was honestly shocked and nearly ended up walking out with some. A very great retro game store, albeit in a strange location but still a rare gem in the neighborhood and I highly recommend it if you’re a nerd like me. The only critique I could give is that, they almost have TOO much stuff. There’s still boxes they’re unpacking everywhere, and some really cool things on shelves are kinda buried behind them. If I was new to video game hunting I’d probably be very lost in the mess in there. Otherwise it’s such a great location!

The fact that I don’t have to plan a whole day to go out to Long Island to look at retro games is great. The place is deceptively big inside and really well organized, so you’ll find a lot of stuff without realizing and everywhere you look. Staff is cool and helpful and I’d say the prices are fair to good, especially with the older games. Really cool little place kinda tucked away deep in Whitestone but definitely worth the trip.
