Really easy and convenient. I just moved to Seoul from America and I can't begin to explain how much easier government offices are here.

I'd warn you not to go to this location, but unfortunately that's not always an option. I had the worst experience I've ever had at immigration in 10+ years living in Korea. They will lose documents and blame you for it. Make you come multiple times (because you have nothing better to do then go to immigration three times in a week). Not give clear instructions about where to go and sent you

*Bring every document you have already submitted from at least a year back just to be sure, make sure the officer tells you exactly what day to return and where to pick up you registration card.*

You might don’t like my comment due to bad reputation about the immigration offices in Korea which is right. But this place counter number 1.5 are the best people I had in my whole years in Korea. Even the other stuff are good with my friends. So this place is great. 👍🏼
Thank you very much to the staff at the visa unit level 2 that facilitated both my wife & my visa issues. Really appreciate it. Do be sure to bring necessary documents during your visit.

Stupid visa procedure. Need to take several appointments and the staff doesn't always tell you the same answer. Even one day, I went to my appointment and the employee tell me it wasn't the good desk and ask me to take a ticket to the other desk. There, some people make me paying useless 100 000 won. I waited ALL THE DAY. And Finally, at the other desk, they told me to go back to the first desk! I experienced all the visa procedure in the same way for several months. It was horrible for me and finally I had to give up my F4 application because I had to go back to France for my work and when you leave, the application is canceled. This is how korean immogration welcome adopted koreans overseas.

Some very rude and unprofessional staff. One woman in particular gave misleading and incorrect information when trying to renew my D-10 (jobseekers visa). She told me I had to “get out of Korea” or “just teach English.” I am not an English teacher, and don’t appreciate being racially profiled. It has taken seven visits and 13 weeks to renew my ARC.
I came to resolve my case with another colleague, however, she had prevented her co-workers from working on my case.
I understand these ladies have tough a job to do, however, I will be placing a formal complaint about this member of staff to the relevant authority. Nobody deserves to be treated like that.

New building, but same old staff that simply doesn't work at all: among 5 booths for example only 2 operates at it's best. Ignorance, rudeness and inability to speak English to those who experience problems in Korean is behind of any possible standards. During lunch these guys simply turn down the lights and at once leaving frustrated service seakers and applicants behind without any hope. The worst experience ever.
