This was well worth the $5 entrance fee (winter rate). It was a pleasant fall walk, but 1.5 hours wasn't enough to see everything.
My only disappointments were that the treetop walk was closed, and there was a section closed for renovations.

This was such a hidden gem! It was pretty quiet even on a Sunday afternoon. I’m so glad I decided to come because it felt very peaceful. I wish it wasn’t so close to the highway, but the trees were so beautiful. You can take your time and walk around for 2+ hours here. The trails are well kept. I highly recommend doing the tree walk! It felt magical to walk with the trees, especially when it wasn’t too busy. The guy who runs the walk is really friendly too. He can tell you all about the forest!

Small fee to enter, little more extra to do the tree walk. Was well worth the experience. Bring your hiking shoes because it’s a bit to walk!
I am not much of a garden person nor do I have much knowledge of plants but it is a beautiful walk and the Treewalk was really fun! If you are a plant person then you will probably have much more appreciation for the gardens. There are plaques throughout that explain what is planted. I enjoyed the gardens on the other side of the tunnel, they gardens are set up in an artistic way and it’s very beautiful.
The gardens are fairly inexpensive attraction to enjoy and is in the heart of UBC which is beautiful in and of itself.

Beautiful experience exploring the Botanical garden, we bought family tickets which includes two adults and four youth and it cost only 50 CAD.
This package included the tree walk which was amazing. Its a hanging walkway between trees. And you need atleast 2 to 3 hours to explore most of it. We arrived bit late and garden close at 4.30 pm.

Impressive gardens, with flowers that bloom later in the season (for all those flower lovers out there!). You could easily spend the entire day here since there is so much to see, but give yourself at least 2-3 hours. The Tree Walk is a must-see.
