It said it was open on Friday the 5 of January. However, it was not when we got there. We were in the city just for a week and planned for this market to be our Friday evening activity. We would have appreciated the hours being updated or it being set as temporarily closed

First time exploring the Shipyards Night Market, loving the view and vibe there. Fantastic view of the shipyards and Vancouver's skyline along the wide pier boardwalk, lots of local vendors both outdoor and indoor, lively music, and a few different food trucks rotation every week, this dog-friendly market makes a great hangout or a fun date night. It is extremely difficult to find street parking close by, would recommend public transit or be prepared to park a few blocks further and walk a little extra. Some outdoor vendors don't have good lighting at night time, would recommend shopping before sunset.

A great place spend a night with live band and beer on Friday night from spring to summer. They always have a few food trucks and many good restaurants nearby.
You must have a walk in this area before sunset and after dark. It has beautiful sunset and the view of Downtown Vancouver.
You can bring your whole family here since there are so many different shops and good restaurants.

Always a fun summer evening. Great atmosphere and different live music every week. They definitely need more food trucks to service the number of people to reduce time waiting inline and waiting for food.

Excellent food. Compared to the Richmond Night Market it doesnt have as many options, but still a large variety!

Portions are big. We went with the fish & chips, and the mac n cheese for the kids. Both were good. The cannoli was OK, but we really enjoyed our time there! Would definitely come back a few times this summer.

This was a fun and lively market. Although now terribly large, very diverse in vendors and food. I was super impressed with the live music and the fun atmosphere. We shopped, we ate, we danced and sang along to the music. And the sights of Vancouver's Skyline as the sun sets behind in the distance is amazing.
