I sat at the bar and had an amazing service from Jonathan.
I tried the French onion soup, the raclette appetizer, and the Ementel fondue.

The wine selection is simple but good and the ambience is very inviting.
Great food and experience overall.

the hostess was incredibly accommodating, kind, and professional. the ambiance and atmosphere are an absolute delight. My compliments end there. The appetizers were disappointing in all aspects (price, taste, serving size, presentation) and the service from one mohawked server made me question if I had killed his mother in a past life. After barely starting we decided to cut our losses. I unfortunately would not recommend and will actively tell people to avoid a Saturday night there.

Best fondue in SF! This restaurant is great for special occasions and had a cozy feel with authentic decor. I have been coming a couple times a year since moving to SF and it never disappoints. Don’t miss out on the fresh chocolate chip cookies!

This is a truly wonderful experience with delicious, authentic Swiss food. They cook the fondue with white wine and Kirsch--if you find that it tastes or smells too boozy, try having them cook the fondue with no Kirsch and half of the white wine. It's just as delicious and should be more enjoyable for those who are sensitive to alcohol flavors and scents.

The authentic atmosphere at this place and the start is very friendly and helpful.

Best of all... The food is really yummy. The signature cheese fondue but also the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes... Really really yummy.

A gem from old San Francisco. The wood paneling is imported from Switzerland. Ditto the decor. They have exclusive French and Swiss cheeses and bake their own sourdough for the fondue. There’s also pickled vegetables, apple slices and pretzels for the fondue. Authentic and affordable wines. Patient and attentive staff. Step in, get lost, and forget you’re on Van Ness. This Palace of fondue should be recognized alongside House of Prime Rib as Old SF. I hope it remains as sleepy and intimate for another 40 years!

Wonderful ambiance, helpful service, and great food!

Tucked away on a cute corner of Van Ness, this restaurant offers great Swiss dishes including four distinct cheese fondues.

The interior is an extremely cute Alpine village with beautiful wood paneling and much Swiss paraphernalia. It brings an exotic angle to the place.

Definitely recommend!
