This is one of the greatest hidden gems in the city!! In April the entire field is filled with the sweet scent of lilacs. There are tons of hidden spots to lay in the shade and enjoy a picnic. Beautiful area to walk year round but stunning in the spring!
A beautiful area, and scenery as part of the Arboretum in DC. Spring time is the best time to visit as the area is blooming with flowers, trees, and color. It is a sight to behold, and it is a beautiful date spot. I recommend the sight to any visitors of the DC area, or any people to have a nice walking afternoon.
