Jagdish Temple

However, expect crowds during peak times. Nonetheless, its beauty and historical importance make it a top attraction in Udaipur.

This is one of the most impressive temples I’ve ever seen. Soooo much details in the carvings and is located in a very traditional area. I just love how they are always singing traditional Bhajans inside. A must visit 🇮🇳🕉❤️💕🤩

Located near the city palace entrance. Beautiful architectural design of the temple. It's build in panchayatan style of architecture.
Also has the paid car and bike parking facilities.
But avoid taking the car, streets are narrow and full of traffic.

Currently, maintenance work is in progress, but the temple's architecture and serene atmosphere make it a divine and peaceful religious pilgrimage destination.

Visiting the temple was a pleasant experience, but I would recommend avoiding taking a car, as the streets leading to it are narrow and often congested with traffic

Jagdish Temple is one of the best locations in Udaipur. It's a historic place with outstanding beauty. The sculptures on the temple walls are exquisite. The people in the area are very friendly and welcoming. Photography inside the temple is prohibited. The surroundings are picturesque, and there are many souvenir shops near the temple. The place is simply wonderful.

No tickets Needed.

One of the Oldest temple for lord Vishnu. In the old and busy/ narrow streets of Udaipur, must visit if you are there. There was some renovation going on when we visited, but a very clean and well maintained temple.

Steile Treppen führen hinauf in diesen Hindutempel. Er ist ca. 750 Jahre alt, aus Marmor und ganz toll verziert. Die Hauptfigur ist aus purem Gold. Zwei Mal täglich kommen die Gläubigen hier herauf, um morgens um einen guten Tag zu bitten, abends dafür zu danken.
