Free to get in, and you can spend the whole day here. there is an area for packed lunches as well as a cafe and restaurant.. Lots of hands-on things for children and great when the Glen Lee is open as you can ring the bell and swab the decks.
Absolutely brilliant place to go. Very child friendly. Can be very busy when school is off. Highly recommend.
The way in which some of the exhibits are presented is a little bit plastic, but overall, this is still one of the really good transport museums.
It's a small & ordinary museum, good for family, I will prescribe it a National level museum but not for an international tourist who has visited bigger museums
Amazing museam with a lot to see whether you like trains boats or cars there is something for everybody.
It really was an amazing experience visiting the museum, we have learnet many interesting facts about the history of transportation all present by original display items. Oh, and it is free too. Must see!
I saw all sorts of people visiting this quirky collection of truly impressive odds and ends. There really is something for everyone. Everything is so picture worthy you can really lose yourself. Loads of fun at any age.
