A hidden gem for amazing Korean food!

This restaurant is cozy and narrow with decently priced food. There isn't too much seating though - about five 4-seat tables and three 2-seaters. The chairs were kinda uncomfortable, and the cushion wouldn't really stay in place. There also wasn't much space at the smaller table for all the food and side dishes, so it was very cramped.

Aside from the poor furniture choices, the food was well worth the discomfort. First, there's a simple QR code to scan for the menu. The menu is simple and each dish has a corresponding photo. The special combo was very worth it, as it came with two dishes.

I got the 'Bulgogi or Spicy Pork + Tofu Stew' set. The tofu stew was incredible. The broth was so flavorful and addicting. Plus, it came with lots of ingredients - tofu, mushrooms, egg, and kelp (?). The bulgogi was also very flavorful and sweet. It came out on a sizzling plate so make sure you let it cool down a bit.
And ofc, every Korean restaurant has unlimited banchan (side dishes). Normally I only like one or two at other restaurants but l liked every single side dish that I literally cleaned up the plate.

This spot has quickly become my go to Korean food in Astoria. Being Korean myself, I am a harsh critique when it comes to Korean food but everything I’ve tried tastes authentic and spot on. Woo is the friendliest server and makes sure we have a great dining experience every time. P.S he makes the best watermelon soju 😅

Amazing food and phenomenal value for the price! The bulgogi and crunchy tofu were fantastic and big enough to take leftovers home for a whole second meal. We were blown away by the soju watermelon drink — probably one of the best cocktail deals in nyc! So tasty and can probably feed an army comfortably

We just love it here. The most wholesome delicious food and amazing folks who run it.

Very unassuming casual low key place, excellent service, comforting meals.

Some of our favorites: crunch tofu appetizer, ssam, scallion pancakes appetizer, bibimbap with tofu, and soy bean paste stew/soup.

Must visit - I’d be remiss if I did not write a review.

Used to love this place until I enjoyed Korean bbq in k town, but it was still better than this last meal. The picture led me to believe I would get more and better sides; I have in the past as well. I had four tiny sides - 3 bites each - and the kimchi was bad, the other was one piece of broccoli, the third I don’t even know; carrots in some marinade (not good) and then the really good vegetables cut into noodles.

The $32 short ribs were a decent size but not after realizing it’s mostly tough fat and cartilage; not to mentioned on the bone… which I thought was weird, and unexpected.

Not great. Won’t order again until it improves, but wanted to share for the other throwback guests that might also expect better.

This is a small place but you won't regret it. They have indoor and outdoor dining. If you pay cash I believe there's a discount. The service was GREAT!!! Woo was so attentive and welcoming!!! The menu has great options! The food has so much flavor and it's a great portion. You will definitely come out full. So happy I found this place. We loved everything we got.

My GO-TO spot whenever I’m craving Korean comfort food! Whenever friends from out of town come to visit, I always bring them here, and whenever they come back to visit, they always demand on coming back here to eat again. The vibe is always welcoming and the servers there only further enhance the overall great experience. The side dishes are fantastic, which is a huge bonus because a lot of Korean restaurants that I’ve been to are a little lackluster when it comes to their side dishes. The main dish and appetizers are all solid. I honestly can’t think of a single dish that I can think of where I left unsatisfied, and I actually tried the entire menu. Great food, great vibe, great servers, great ambiance, what more can you ask for?
