Great addition for fish lovers right in the heart of the busy Tariq Road commercial market near the most famous Liberty signal located between Allah Wala biryani Tariq Road branch and Faisal milk shop. They open right after sunset and close when the fish is all sold out. The species of fish vary each day, hence the price fluctuates. Fish is available either fried or grilled right in front of you. You can buy in the form of a steak or fillet.
The first time I bought the grilled fish, it was one of the Marlin fish. They first fried and then grilled that fillet. That was one of the best tasting fish I ever had. There were no bones, the meat flesh was moist and tender. It was full of flavor with the right balance of spices. They packed the fish in an aluminum foil to preserve the taste.
After an excellent first experience, I went there again a few days later and ordered the grilled Marlin fish again. However, the second time around, it was a different form of Marlin and it turned out to be a very horrible experience. The other Marlin fish meat was dry, hard and rubbery, and lacked any taste whatsoever. It was nowhere like the first Marlin. I also bought finger fish from a different fish type and that was just ok, nothing extraordinary.
Just an advice; please consume the Marlin fish in moderation since this fish contains high quantity of mercury and other toxins which are harmful to human health. Please be knowledgeable about the fish you're eating whether it's harmful or not. Although Marlin has several health benefits but the dangers it poses, outweigh those so use discretion when eating Marlin fish. Thanks
