This place is great for vegetarian people who want to branch out from the usual vegetarian dishes served at other asian restaurants. As another comment mentioned, nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s great to have your usual asian dishes like Loc Lac, Bo Bun, Pad Thai or Pho, made accessible to vegan and vegetarian people. The only reason I’m removing one star on the food is because it didn’t have the most authentic taste in my opinion, and I felt it catered more to western tastes than to asian palates.
For example, I felt like the caramelized chicken claypoy tasted very sweet, no doubt because it was caramelized but I think it also had some coconut milk flavor in it; as for the Tien Hiang claypot, this one had cheese mixed with rice. In my opinion, the fully pan-asian menu also doesn’t help give a clear identity to the restaurant: is it Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese?
These aren’t bad things per se, it just makes it feel almost like a fusion restaurant. Nonetheless, the food was very tasty, the fried NoChicken was addictive and I actually really liked the fried noodles. I criticized the NoChicken claypot, and yet it was my favorite out of all the dishes we ordered, 100% recommend. Good service and good portions too, so I definitely recommend this place to vegan and vegetarian people + their partners.

Very delicious and creative vegan food. We enjoyed a combo of starters as well as a different choice of mains on our 2 visits at Tien Hiang. Note: being early pays off - especially on weekends, the place fills up quickly. Definitely would recommend coming here!

bò bún: rice vermicelli, lemongrass vegan “beef”, nems, soy sprouts, cucumber, carrots, mint, and peanuts. soooo delicious!

So tasty!! Everything was delicious and flavoursome, staff were really helpful for my allergies. Wish I could go here every night

We just ate at this place and I am a jain and don't eat onion, garlic, mushroom, carrots and beets. And they were able to makensome very nice delicacies for me. They are 100% vegan and we had an amazing service by Michael who helped with me making choices for food.

I’ve been to Tien Hiang two times and all the things that I tried were good. I tried marmite tien hiang, which is basically like tofu seitan beef and rice with a nice sauce. Bo bun boeuf consists seitan meat substitute, vegetable nems, tofu (tofu is tasteless but it’s okay with the sauce), salad and rice noodles. Pad thai is like peanut noodles, it was my least liked among the main courses that I’ve tried because peanut taste is a bit bitter.
As entrees, I think fried chicken is overrated it tastes like dough (bread) and not like chicken. But I liked the soup. For the dessert, I tried matcha, mango and litchi motchis. My rank is matcha>litchi>mango.
The service is nice and they have cute merchs with illustration. I think you can see the attention that they put into the restaurant. I recommend the place. You can also bring non-vegetarian/vegan friends.

Good vegab food but nothing out of the ordinary. I thought it a bit overrated to be honest, compared to what I was expecting. But still nice menu with a large choice, many interesting plant based meat alternatives.
We were quite disappointed with the steamed rolls as appetizers though, we wouldn't recommend them, same for the homemade limonade
