Brilliant tour lead by the brilliant Flavia🇮🇹 (I hope I’m spelling this right!) so informative and very interesting. She made the experience enjoyable and was open to answering questions anyone had. Would recommend this tour to family and friends as it includes Scottish history that is fascinating!! Thankyou😁

Brilliant tour of Glasgow Central. Paul Lyon’s was our guide……..and what a great character he is! Lovely guy whose wit and patter along with his stories, passion and in-depth knowledge of the history of the station kept us enthralled throughout. We will definitely do it again.

This is hands down one of the best things I have ever done in Glasgow. The tour itself is fantastic (mysterious underground tunnels what's not to love) but what really made this whole experience was the tour guide Paul he had a wealth of knowledge and real passion for the history of the place. Least stuffy tour I've been on we laughed so much and can't wait to go back.

What a great tour. Fascinating and fun. Paul was superb as our tour guide. Passionate and knowledgeable, combined with lots of mischievous humour.

Mainline stations play a major role in a city's history, and Glasgow Central is no different.

The plans to recreate a Victorian platform, complete with steam engine can only make this even better.

I highly recommend this tour.

Went on the Glasgow Central Tour today with family from abroad and from here at home, we all loved the tour. Jackie was wonderful and is such a charming character, you can really feel her passion for the station, its history and its future. The stories she told are interesting and very informative, as well as learning more about Glasgow and Scotland along the way. Will be back hopefully to see a locomotive.
Today, a friend and i took a really educational tour of the subterranean parts of UK's second busiest station .£15 ticket booked online buys you protective clothing and an amazing trip underneath the current station to view an old victorian disused platform, the labyrinth of tunnels and passages down below and the very interesting museum of bygone days.
Within the next couple of months, amazing things will be happening . The old platform is to be completely transformed. A length of rail will be installed, an old steam engine of the period is to be transported from Bo'ness and Kinneil museum. Holograms depicting Victorian ladies walking on the platform will be
Installed in front of old Victorian, specially constructed, shop frontages.Paul was our guide today. He is the TV star of " Inside Central Station". He is extremely knowledgeable very funny, has 1000 anecdotes and cannot be missed in full scottish highland dress with his Scottish version ZZ Top style beard. A thoroughly perfect guy for the job.
He is the genius behind most of said projects and in over 30 years service has been Station Manager at London
Euston, Kings Cross and Glasgow Central Cant wait to see the latest, most ambitious project come to pass.

We all met up outside boots and Jackie took us through the tour of the station with lots of stories and Information. I would recommend this even if you are not interested in trains as it's really about the stories of Glasgow Central and its history. We will go back in a few years time to see if they have made any updates as it was that good.
