In a town full of disappointment and emptiness, tucked away it what appears to be the centre lies the Midsummer Tap. Named for what I don’t know. The towns obsession with Midsummer makes it seem more endless and empty, forever bright, forever empty. A very vibrant pub with forced character and the Yeastie Boys. Alas this establishment has got something that the town doesn’t have, oddly expensive beer, tacos that aren’t crunchy, it is trying to be something, if in anywhere else it would stand out, but in this empty town it fits in. Also the toilets have a cool wall paper.

We had an amazing bottomless brunch at Midsummer Tap. Jamie our server who made are cocktail’s was very friendly and always made sure we had a drink before we had finished the one we already had.
We all had pizza’s and Adam the chef was able to accommodate my mum’s dietary requirements. The food and drinks were lovely.
Really worth the money.
This is our second time doing bottomless brunch here and we would totally recommend it to others.

Really nice little pub/with great food at a good price. I had a meat feast pizza which was stone baked and fresh. Really nice after a day in the office.

A tired and fractious family entered, and a revitalised energetic tribe departed!
The food and drink was spot on, the atmosphere was great, even though we arrived at an awkward time of the day between normal service hours for most places, we felt immediately welcomed. All the staff were great and particular recommendation goes to Andrew who was highly attentive and helpful.
The theme is a wild mix of 80’s & 90's / world
/ craft beer / Sports bar and could happily be mistaken for a funky alpine apres ski lodge inside with bright decor and excellent playlist of music. A stark contrast to the bleak concrete concourse of Milton Keynes!
I reckon this would be a great place to head out for drinks in the evening, and they have regular events, but nevertheless they also nailed it for families of all ages too, there was an old dude with one family and teen-agers playing on the retro consoles in one of the other booths! The facilities were also in good condition and well cleaned, so high marks all round.
Will definitely come here again if I'm in Milton Keynes.

My wife and I booked a slot 5:30 to 7:30 and arrived prompt to see a waitress drop a tray full of hot drinks on a customers table, unfortunately with the best will in the world these things happen. We were shown to our table with eight seats around it whilst others with two were available but that was OK. The waiter said he would clear the table from the previous occupants which he did but he did not clean it, they were busy although not many people in at this time. The industry is finding it hard so we ignore the beer and stickiness on the table.
Pick up the laminated menus and find they too were wet, sticky and stained, these things can all happen in a busy pub/eatery. Our drinks were served and a gulp of neck oil was really welcome, that was until I noticed the lipstick on the edge of the glass and not being a lippy sort of guy I showed it to the barman and he changed it without issue. These sorts of thing can happen also and it wasn't a full lip impression.
The meal was OK but despite asking that my wife's chicken burger just had chicken and a bun and none of the embellishments and it coming with lettuce and a smattering of gherkin but not a major problem as these things happen.
We looked at the time and we had 45mins of our time slot left "do you fancy a pudding" my good lady said and whilst in the throws of thinking about it the tea thrower waitress stopped on her way by and said, and I quote "do you want another round of drinks or are you going to pay up"!!! And it was said with attitude!
We were not misbehaving in any way (both in our sixty's) , nor had we moaned about any of the sloppiness, I even joked with the barman about the lippy, the place was no where near full.
I have never been spoken to like that at any hostelry in my life. We will never return and I only gave it two stars because the beer was good.

Great atmosphere, live sports TV, staff very friendly. Chad and Tora really looked after us and were always happy to help.
Busy yet friendly place to eat and drink. 241 cocktails a bonus... burger was delicious and so was the sharer platter.
Thank you, we will be back x

First time in Milton and one of my friend suggested this place. This is a call quirt place . Perfect to chill , watch game and to grab of beer. We ordered chicken wings , cheese pizza and loaded fries. Loaded fries was bit disappointing but on the other hand the wings was simply too good.
Planning to try the 16 pound platter on next visit heard it is very good. .
Enjoy eating 😁
