Perfect view of national park. Just take something warm to wear and buy tickets online week before trip. Also if you want to visit volcano top you need to get a permit few months in advance.

Great experience, highly recommended. I will advise to arrive at least one hour prior to your cable car scheduled departure time. Parking could be problematic. There is a very good café on site and toilets nearby. A hat, windproof jacket, pants and sneakers are also my recommendation.

Fun trip! Cold at the top, layer up. Parking is a nightmare, go as early as you can. Permit required for the very, very top and they sell out (though they are free) months in advance. If you can't get a permit, you can still take the cable car to the top station and do a little hike around to a viewpoint. Altitude is no joke, be prepared to be a bit out of breath. Bring water :)

Amazing scenery. The view is outstanding and being at the top of such an enormous volcanoe was awe-inspiring. You really should buy tickets for the cable car in advance. In addition, if you want to reach the very top of the volcanoe, you'll need a trail pass, which you need to book months in advance. But the visit to near the top on the cable car is probably enough for all but the most dedicated walkers. There are also a number of walking trails at the top that are worth doing. Beware though, the air is thin up there, the paths are rough and you only have an hour up there. So pick one trail and complete that, while setting a timer on your phone

Excellent short trip with very knowledgeable guide. Be aware if you do manage to catch a day when the wind is calm enough for the cable car to be operational that you will need warm clothing both at the entrance level and at the top, as it gets very cold up there. Worth the effort though.

Booked online for the exact hour. One day it didn't work because of the wind. The next day we made it. You might get dizzy at the top because of the lower pressure and less oxygen. One young lady lost consciousness. But the elderly people at the back made it. Worth visiting. There's a toilet at the top. The restaurant at the bottom is terrible only burgers drinks and sweets. No proper food like dinner.
