Have been inside the gallery many times as a member of Fountain House, used to be involved with the gallery. So vital to the Fountain House community and the art community at large. An individual with a mental illness who is an artist needs a place to display their art. This is it.
Amazing, As an artist myself its very frustrating approaching galleries in the New York area to get gigs and getting the full recognition we deserve.. So glad that something like this exist and is dedicated to helping creatives find an outlet to be successful in.
Great place to meet people
A fantastic space in Hell's Kitchen that showcases the work of members of Fountain House, a local organization supporting those with mental illness. Both Outsider work and more formal work is represented.
Wonderful friendly place. My husband is often included in the art shows which makes us both very happy. Great art and great place!
