Casual cafe to hangout or do light work. The proceeds from the shop go to mental health services. I had the Conversation Starter Guatemalan blend they had. The almond and lemon zest were present, but I wouldn’t describe the base as milk chocolate, more like a sour apple.

Other than it's depressing. Some of the girls working there are just disrespectful. Some serve well-made coffee, and some will just throw an ice coffee dosed with milk and call it proudly an ice latte. The picture shows it.

About 5 years ago, I was on the heels of a bad breakup. I was googling coffee shops and this place had just opened up. It was the only time I was able to get out of bed. They didn’t know it at the time, but this place really meant a lot. Brian and Alice were my primary baristas and I really appreciate them. While I didn’t need counseling services with my coffee, this place was my symbol of getting through that rough time. There’s something personable about the staff. And they make a damn good cup of coffee.

Most people here on a Monday during the day were focused on their work, it’s a quieter and more peaceful space. A ton of outlets, standing and sitting seating.

Kind staff that guided me to the best drink. Nectar of the Gods latte was AMAZING. Sweetened with agave, cinnamon and chocolate, absolutely delicious. And not to mention 16oz for $5.50! super reasonable prices for Chicago.
