Always a stunning themed display of fresh greenery that changes every year. An annual trip here had been part of the holiday season us for the past 15 years. Table centerpieces and wreaths for sale, crafts for children and even an opportunity to purchase parts of the holiday sets after the event all make this a perfect season family event.

The Hart Cluett Museum is a well put together museum that displays the history of Troy and Rensselaer County. The museum has many one of a kind artifacts. Some of these include ornate iron stoves that were manufactured in Troy, elaborate carriages, a display about Uncle Sam, a painting of the Poestenkill Lion, and sculptures from the Garden Way company aka Troy-Bilt. There are also some more contemporary objects including a neon sign from the South Troy Tavern and a seat from the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. There are sure to be many things that will catch your attention here. Admission is free! There is a research library inside as well. Tours of the mansion are seasonal, but the museum is open Thursday- Saturday. It should take about a half hour to a full hour to go through the museum.

A beautiful little gem, that showcases many little historical facts about Troy, and actual pieces as well . The house itself is beautiful!
