Nice but it could be improved and renewed.

Just a matter of investment.

It's a small place with a few simple exhibits, really not impressive at all. Just blocks and a basketball hoop kind of like an indoor playground, couldn't find anything interesting for my 4 year old daughter. I'm afraid she now thinks science is very boring. Cannot spend more than 45 mins here. Not recommended unless it's overhauled.

What a cool way to show your kids the evolution of computers and gaming consoles! There is a computer set up so you can play Oregon Trail and one with a visible floppy disk. The 80s bedroom was definitely a hit. My son commented that he remembered me having the same alarm clock when he was little. Stop by and play some Duck Hunt or take rest on the couch from the 80s. Before you leave there is a room where you use your tokens for Galega, Donkey Kong, Mortal Combat or PacMan.

The Science and Technology room is amazing. My 4 year old built and launched an air powered car and rocket. We played with sand to build a topology map with a projector and computer. They have a maker studio and a ton of cool engaging stations. There were about 30 kids and 20 parents today and there was a birthday party held in the birthday room. My son and I had a blast.

Nice place filled with different options for family friendly exhibits and experiences! National video game museum, train topia and other options are available within the discovery center.

Such a great time for all ages. There was so much space to explore, tons to look at, and plenty of nostalgia for everyone. The way some of the displays are set up is so creative, & you can interact with most everything in the museum. Highly recommended.

This was a private collection that was donated to traintopia. It is one of the largest model train layouts I've ever seen and very beautifully done. The model train collection is only part of the displays by traintopa. They have a large collection of real engines and cars. Many of which have either been restored are in the process of being restored. One of the most interesting is a large steam engine. Well worth the trip to see. Make sure you check the schedule for the tours of the large engines. Also check the weather as the large equipment is outside.
